Avinash Sarwal
President & Chief Investment Officer
Avinash Sarwal has led Bikaner Advisors since 2021, directing the firm's investment strategy across public and private markets. He was previously Director of Investments at Joddes Limited, where he oversaw asset allocation and public-market risk. Earlier in his career he worked in institutional equities with Morgan Stanley across New York, Hong Kong, and Singapore, with earlier experience at the Boston Consulting Group. He holds a BA in Economics from McGill University and serves on the Industry Advisory Council of Desautels Capital Management.
Philip Hassoulas
Director, Investments
Philip Hassoulas leads the firm's private-market investing, with a focus on direct sourcing, diligence, and governance. He joined Bikaner Advisors in 2024, having previously worked as a management consultant at the Boston Consulting Group and in AI strategy at Deloitte. He holds an MBA from HEC Paris and a degree in Software Engineering from McGill University.
Anthony Bennett
Director, Finance & Operations
Anthony Bennett oversees the firm's finance and operational functions. A chartered accountant certified in Australia, he has built private-equity reporting and month-end capabilities across advisory practice, previously served as COO of a carbon-management business within Trovio Group in Singapore, and audited financial-services clients at KPMG.
